But, every once in a while, we have the very pleasurable opportunity to work with people like the team at the just-opened Burnt Church Distillery in Bluffton, South Carolina where it all means so much more. This team, led by co-founders Billy and Sean Watterson, started with a vision to invest and make apositive difference in their community and to honor the history of the area. And, since construction on the distillery began in May of 2019, it has truly been a labor of love, honoring past and a commitment to celebrating the present in that part of South Carolina’s Low Country.
Fast forward to their recent official opening, attended by over 2000 people and the Governor of South Carolina, along with other local officials. “We are exporting South Carolina’s culture, flavor and history – one bottle at a time,” Watterson was quoted at the opening of the 25,000 square foot distillery. It’s that larger vision to tell the story of the region and give back to the community that inspires us at Stolzle and makes us so thrilled to be partnered with the Burnt Church Distillery. With authentic low country spirits bottled with names like Bluffton Whiskey, Anita’s Choice Bourbon, Devil’s Elbow Gin, Sippin’ Saint Moonshine and more, the story of local heritage continues to be reinforced. This in combination with the specific glass for the specific spirit that Stolzle offers makes for a perfect synergy between the two companies. Plus, keeping with our #StolzleForLife mantra - heritage and great storytelling is something that we at Stolzle always love being a part of.
Mark states that when discussing Stolzle’s products with Katherine she was very focused and knew exactly what she wanted for the Distillery.
Matching our passion for producing high quality, high performance glassware, that is then backed up by an equally strong passion for great customer service and communication - all resulting in long-term, lifetime relationships with great individuals and organizations.
For us, that is #StolzleForLife. So, congratulations to the entire team at Burnt Church Distillery in Bluffton, South Carolina. All of us here at Stolzle are very proud to be a partner with such a fine group of people. "But there's really nothing quite like partnering with a great specialty retailer who, like Stolzle, has built their relationship with a very loyal clientele."
And the love goes both ways as local Stolzle sales representative Sid Hoagland loves the responsiveness that comes from partnering with specialty accounts like CAPERS Home. "CAPERS Home is a great example of a local fashion retailer who understands their customer, and isn’t afraid to go beyond the internet to present top quality products in a well merchandised, coordinated, easy to shop environment," says Hoagland. "As one of her customers told me this week, “this is retail therapy – I can’t get this sense of fun shopping on a computer'."
Like most retail operators during the pandemic, Capers has had to be flexible in how it ensures that their shoppers remain safe. With shopper safety and customer service at the forefront, Capers has set up early morning private shopping sessions for their customers and personal shopping via Apple’s Facetime. Shoppers can schedule an appointment and have someone on the store staff guide them through their own personal private shopping experience.
That’s why we at Stolzle are proud to partner with Lisa and her team at CAPERS Home in Seattle. For more information on CAPERS Home, please visit: http://www.capershomeseattle.com/

With such a focus on quality and entertaining, its no wonder that Port Plums is such a perfect customer to be a Stolzle premier glassware partner. We focus on what makes kitchen culture so appealing. The top-notch products bring originality to our customers’ kitchens. We live for the moments our customers come back to tell us how the products we sell changed the way they walk into their kitchen. Why is premier glassware important to your business? We sell products that align with our vision. That’s why we sell Stolzle: for its combination of quality and elegance. Not to mention, Stolzle is also durable and dishwasher safe. Why do you recommend Stolzle products? Our philosophy of using sophisticated and high-quality products is the reason we always recommend Stolzle. We’re aware of how Stolzle products bring a sense of elegance and reliability to the table. We want others to feel that too. Do you have a favorite collection from Stolzle? While it’s almost impossible to narrow down to just one favorite, we’d have to pick the Quatrophil collection. It’s refined beauty is suitable for the most elegant table, especially when they’re featured in the Newburyport Wine Club. For each monthly meeting, 4-6 wines are showcased by Certified Sommelier, Gary Sullivan, and poured into the Stolzle glasses for tasting. Those that are captivated by the glassware purchase through Port Plums. Because we’re committed to providing the ideal version of at-home entertainment, you can see why we’re so adamant on selling Stolzle’s premier glassware. How could we not? When you combine such a dedication to quality with an equally strong focus on entertaining - and, then throw in a good measure of experienced and energetic staff - it's no wonder that Port Plums is one of the top kitchen and culinary shops in all of New England.
