We are very excited and proud to be an Award of Excellence winner from Tableware International magazine. As hospitality is a major part of all we do, winning the Hospitality Glassware award is especially meaningful. In America, we are proud to work with our partner company RAK Porcelain USA.
Thank you again to Tableware International. More smiles on more faces. #BornInFire #StoelzleForLife It’s true that many of our wine glass collections are award-winning. But we also love it when our barware receives recognition as best in class, as well. So, we are thrilled to have our New York Barware as a winner of the 2021 Tableware International Awards of Excellence in the Barware category. and was formally announced on last week.
With more than 175 entries this year from the world’s leading brands we are incredibly proud that the international judging panel has chosen Stolzle as the winners for the Barware category. Stolzle Export Manager Jan Zschiesche commented on the award, “We always proud when our products are recognized as glassware is category filled with so many excellent companies. Having our New York Collection chosen for this year’s Tableware International Awards of Excellence is a special honor for two reasons. First, this award is in the Barware category, a category that so many people are now discovering Stolzle’s skill and expertise. Secondly, Our Manhattan and Club designs within the New York Barware series also showcases the great decoration range and capabilities of Stolzle’s factory artisans.” Today, Stölzle Lausitz GmbH has maintained its independence, even within the company Group Stölzle-Oberglas AG. For more than 130 years, Stolzle has been developing new products and processes independently at its factory in Weißwasser, Germany. Today, Stolzle is one of the biggest producers of glassware in Germany. The Tableware International Awards of Excellence features 15 different categories and a Lifetime Award winner each year. The categories range from dinnerware to coffee and tea ware, from barware to hospitality glassware, to innovative dinnerware and more. Judges for the awards include designers, retailers, hospitality professionals, and category experts from all corners of the globe. #BornInFire #StolzleForLife We love a great story – especially when it includes us and one of our hottest new products - our STARlight collection of wine glasses! In their latest issue, Tableware International magazine published a great profile and interview with our Export Manager Jan Zschiesche. “Stölzle Lausitz wanted to take a further step into a new dimension of producing pulled stems. The aim was machine-made glass that comes very close to mouthblown glass,” says Jan, talking about the STARlight collection – a series notable for its remarkable thinness, despite being machine-made. “The stem has a diameter that is about ten percent smaller than that of conventional machine-made glasses,” Jan reveals. “And the goblet also has a noticeably thinner wall thickness compared to other glasses from machine production. In this way the STARlight series combines lightness with extraordinary elegance. They are perfect for high-end gastronomy, 5-star hotels and, of course, luxury wines.” STARlight touches all the bases of performance, approachability, design and, of course, functionality. Simply put – all this adds up to more wine enjoyment! While we are already very proud of our newest star – the STARlight Collection wine glass series – we know we have only just begun with this new and exciting series. For those who love wine like we do, STARlight is a perfect option to help you enjoy your favorite wine.
