One year after the opening of its sales office in Cognac, new from our sister company - Stoelzle Glass Group - that it is getting closer to its spirits customers by opening a dedicated production line in its French factory in Masnières, located near Cambrai. This line will be operational in early March 2021 and will manufacture decanters and bottles for premium spirits. The glass will be extra white with 5 to 10% PCR (recycled glass). The Group thus intends to reduce its carbon footprint by having a factory closer to its customers.
The Masnières site provides the market with its know-how in the manufacture of fine bottles for high-end perfumery and cosmetics. Stoelzle Masnières adheres to ISO 9001 standards and takes advantage of a decoration site with all the main finishing techniques.
With its rich history in the service of the luxury packaging sector, the Masnières plant has been awarded the ENTREPRISE DU PATRIMOINE VIVANT label (LIVING HERITAGE COMPANY) in 2018.

We love a great story – especially when it includes us and one of our hottest new products - our STARlight collection of wine glasses! In their latest issue, Tableware International magazine published a great profile and interview with our Export Manager Jan Zschiesche.
“Stölzle Lausitz wanted to take a further step into a new dimension of producing pulled stems. The aim was machine-made glass that comes very close to mouthblown glass,” says Jan, talking about the STARlight collection – a series notable for its remarkable thinness, despite being machine-made.
“The stem has a diameter that is about ten percent smaller than that of conventional machine-made glasses,” Jan reveals. “And the goblet also has a noticeably thinner wall thickness compared to other glasses from machine production.
