One year after the opening of its sales office in Cognac, new from our sister company - Stoelzle Glass Group - that it is getting closer to its spirits customers by opening a dedicated production line in its French factory in Masnières, located near Cambrai. This line will be operational in early March 2021 and will manufacture decanters and bottles for premium spirits. The glass will be extra white with 5 to 10% PCR (recycled glass). The Group thus intends to reduce its carbon footprint by having a factory closer to its customers.
The Masnières site provides the market with its know-how in the manufacture of fine bottles for high-end perfumery and cosmetics. Stoelzle Masnières adheres to ISO 9001 standards and takes advantage of a decoration site with all the main finishing techniques. With its rich history in the service of the luxury packaging sector, the Masnières plant has been awarded the ENTREPRISE DU PATRIMOINE VIVANT label (LIVING HERITAGE COMPANY) in 2018. "But there's really nothing quite like partnering with a great specialty retailer who, like Stolzle, has built their relationship with a very loyal clientele."
And the love goes both ways as local Stolzle sales representative Sid Hoagland loves the responsiveness that comes from partnering with specialty accounts like CAPERS Home. "CAPERS Home is a great example of a local fashion retailer who understands their customer, and isn’t afraid to go beyond the internet to present top quality products in a well merchandised, coordinated, easy to shop environment," says Hoagland. "As one of her customers told me this week, “this is retail therapy – I can’t get this sense of fun shopping on a computer'."
Like most retail operators during the pandemic, Capers has had to be flexible in how it ensures that their shoppers remain safe. With shopper safety and customer service at the forefront, Capers has set up early morning private shopping sessions for their customers and personal shopping via Apple’s Facetime. Shoppers can schedule an appointment and have someone on the store staff guide them through their own personal private shopping experience.
That’s why we at Stolzle are proud to partner with Lisa and her team at CAPERS Home in Seattle. For more information on CAPERS Home, please visit: http://www.capershomeseattle.com/
#LoveOurCustomers We love a great story – especially when it includes us and one of our hottest new products - our STARlight collection of wine glasses! In their latest issue, Tableware International magazine published a great profile and interview with our Export Manager Jan Zschiesche. “Stölzle Lausitz wanted to take a further step into a new dimension of producing pulled stems. The aim was machine-made glass that comes very close to mouthblown glass,” says Jan, talking about the STARlight collection – a series notable for its remarkable thinness, despite being machine-made. “The stem has a diameter that is about ten percent smaller than that of conventional machine-made glasses,” Jan reveals. “And the goblet also has a noticeably thinner wall thickness compared to other glasses from machine production. In this way the STARlight series combines lightness with extraordinary elegance. They are perfect for high-end gastronomy, 5-star hotels and, of course, luxury wines.” STARlight touches all the bases of performance, approachability, design and, of course, functionality. Simply put – all this adds up to more wine enjoyment! While we are already very proud of our newest star – the STARlight Collection wine glass series – we know we have only just begun with this new and exciting series. For those who love wine like we do, STARlight is a perfect option to help you enjoy your favorite wine. https://drive.google.com/file/d/11ZjYhRBPT1NvZuSnub0T9F7Nxu1bW0fw/view?usp=sharing We love great articles on wine and spirits, especially if they’re educational and encourage us to try new regions or new varietals. Here’s a great article from Liquor.com on white wines covering key topics such as how it made and the most important varietals.
But we would add that the glass you drink your white wine from is almost as important as the wine itself. After all, if you go through the process of learning and then, selecting a specific white wine you will definitely want to taste and enjoy that wine at its very best! Our EXPERIENCE collection was originally designed to do exactly that – to bring out the best in white wines. The range was initially a Riesling range with four glasses, which cover the variety of tastes of this special type of wine. Design and functionality of these glasses proved to be so excellent that many people didn't want to waive the special experience with other types of wine – both white and red. Therefore, the collection was extended and name of the collection became EXPERIENCE. The machine pulled stem glasses impress with their elegant and stylish shape combined with a high wine performance. The combination of sweeping curves and clear tapering contributes to an ideal wine consumption. The deep sculpted larger circumference of the bowl tapers funnel-shaped into the pulled stem, thus creating both durable elegance and a high stability. So, as you carefully learn about and choose your white wine, make sure you also select the right glass. Our EXPERIENCE collection is a high-performance wine glass series meant to showcase all the nuanced flavors of each grape at their very best!
