Jay Allie: Stolzle For Life

Stolzle has been designing and producing great crystal glassware for more than 130 years. During that time, besides producing a line of high-quality, high-performance glassware we have also attempted to manage our business in such a way as to always make sure our activities served the end customer.

Once we connected with either a great restaurant, a great hotel or a consumer who would use our glassware in their home, we have strived to ensure that we exceed their expectations. For us at Stolzle, exceeding expectations means both in service and in the performance of our products.

​Whether the customer is large or small has never mattered – we have always made strong efforts to satisfy their requirements to keep that bond for life – hence the moniker “Stolzle for Life.”

“First for us is the quality of our products. We produce world-class glassware products so our products always must meet a high standard for quality,” says Jay Allie, Stolzle Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing. “But we are also very diligent about providing great service to our customers, both big and small. And, for us, that service continues after the purchase. If a customer believes they have a ‘problem’, there is no problem – we take care of it immediately. We want our customers to stay with us for life.”

The theme of “Stolzle for Life” also extends to our network of distribution partners and sales representatives. No matter the channel of distribution, our goal is always constant communication, mutual trust and support to those supply chain partners to better understand their needs so that we can ultimately continue to satisfy the end customer.

“Whether it a hospitality salesperson who is representing us or a retailer who is stocking our glassware,” continued Allie. “It is important to us that we have great cooperation up and down the line. Our philosophy of ‘Stolzle for Life’ is important here also. Strong partnerships with our sales and distribution partners is a priority for us.”

And certainly “Stolzle for Life” resonates to all who use our products whether in a restaurant, a vineyard or in their home. Our goal is always to help people enhance their lives and their connections with family and friends over a great beverage.

At Stolzle, we strongly believe that people are deeply hardwired to connect with other people. Additionally, we believe that this connection happens best over great food and great beverage.

Therefore, at Stolzle, we want to always enable better and more frequent connections by creating great glassware and beverage serving products that elevate and enhance the times we get together.
